I was asked to write a beer fest recap article for the local newspaper. I had the full story and my thoughts on the beer fest. I had a chance to talk with the organizers and all the breweries, so I am sharing my thoughts and impressions in this article.
I will say one thing about the beers, they were quite good.
I had a chance to get into the event more than anyone in town, and I liked it. It was awesome to see so many breweries in one place. The event was well organized and the beer tasting was fun because you can buy your own beer.
The event was in full swing throughout the day and ended about 1:30 in the afternoon. I saw a ton of people and the event had a lot of fun vibe. The weather was good and the beer tasting was entertaining. It was a good way to meet people and get to know the vendors, chefs, brewers, etc. I liked the idea of having a beer tasting in the middle of December.
The beer tasting was not the only thing happening, there were other events as well. The day was filled with vendors selling all sorts of cool things and a DJ was playing some cool tunes until 2:30am. I met some cool people and got to meet others. I went to the brewery in the morning around 6am, picked up some awesome beers from various breweries, and came back around 3-4pm.
It was great to meet so many people, but I didn’t get to meet any breweries before the event. It was also great that a lot of vendors were still going strong and selling great stuff. I didn’t expect to see so many vendors come in and sell awesome stuff in the morning, but there were a few that were still open. A lot of people were just getting ready for the holiday season though.
I didn’t get to see much of the beer festival, as I had to work late and had to wake up at 6am. But we did get to see the giant cake that the festival staff had baked and all the decorations that were on display and people were doing their shopping before the event.
I’d say that the event was one of the better ones I’ve been to. I think it was one of the more organized, and I think the food was more consistent. There were a lot more vendors too. I think the quality of the food was a little better than it was at the previous beer fest, but I was surprised to see how much food was still available. I guess what everyone was really hoping to see was that the beer festival had something going for it.
There’s a great video for the festival, but that’s not the best way to describe it. The festival is a massive, exciting, and fun event. It’s an old-school event with a lot of food but the food is really fresh and tasty. I think it’s probably a better way to organize the festival than the other festivals, but I’m not sure.
I was surprised to see how much food was still available. Its like the festival is trying to recreate the old days of summer with a lot of the old favorites, but it also has a lot of new food. It’s like beer fest was too expensive, so now they are trying to make it more accessible. Its a good way to get new friends and beer, but I guess its not all that cool.
